Washita Valley Leadership Program
|
| Description | | | The Washita Valley Leadership Program (WVLP) is designed to identify, motivate and develop future leaders. The program is open to adults who work or reside within Caddo Kiowa's district and who can devote 9-10 days from September through May. The class is designed for day-long sessions - with an overnight stay in Oklahoma City when studying state government. Some sessions are held at the Center but many include field trips or meetings in various places throughout the district. Classes are held primarily on the third Thursday of each month, which is subject to change. Participants are expected to attend all sessions unless prevented by serious illness or other major family emergency. As a requirement of graduation, no more than two sessions may be missed. Graduates will be expected to help with succeeding class programs. The cost of the program is $125 and is due at the first meeting. Fees will not be refunded. | |
