Caddo Kiowa nominates MidFirst Bank for award

Fort Cobb, OK – August 8, 2006 – MidFirst Bank was honored for contributions to the development, promotion, and progress of Oklahoma's technology center system during the 2006 Career and Technology Education Summer Conference held August 1-3 at the Tulsa Convention Center.

Accepting the Oklahoma Association of Technology Centers' (OATC) Partners for Progress Award for MidFirst Bank were Jamie Courtney and Stephen Ellis. The company was nominated for the honor by Caddo Kiowa Technology Center.

The Partners for Progress Award recognizes businesses and industries that have demonstrated their commitment to CareerTech education in a variety of ways including financial support, cooperative programs, community involvement and student sponsorships.

"They are always a willing partner whether it is for job interview contests, as a guest speaker in the classroom or as a sponsor for a community event.” stated Jerry Martin, CKTC superintendent.

MidFirst Bank partnered with Caddo Kiowa Technology Center to provide the Child Protect Program to several school districts last year. The program provided parents with child identity packets. Plans are already underway for this year's Child Protect Program.

Caddo Kiowa Technology Center's campus is located in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma. Additional information about programs and services at CKTC is available at www.caddokiowa.com, and statewide information is available at www.okcareertech.org.
