Caddo Kiowa receives Gold Star Award, sixth consecutive yearFort Cobb, OK – August 8, 2006 – Caddo Kiowa Technology Center recently received the Oklahoma Association of Career and Technology Education Gold Star School Award. The award was presented at the 2006 Career and Technology Education Summer Conference held August 1-3, at the Tulsa Convention Center. The conference, one of Tulsa’s 10 largest, attracts more than 3,500 career and technology educators from across Oklahoma. Oklahoma ACTE is the professional organization for the state’s career and technology education administrators, teachers and staff members. The Gold Star Award recognizes technology center districts that have met rigid and demanding criteria demonstrating a high level of excellence. This program provides recognition to districts with exemplary programs designed to meet a broad spectrum of community needs. This is Caddo Kiowa Technology Center’s sixth consecutive year to receive the Gold Star Award. Caddo Kiowa Technology Center's campus is located in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma.
