CKTC Scholarship

Requirements

High School graduates from CKTC sending schools or those with a GED who live in the district can receive 1050 hours tuition-free hours. Students using the waiver have until their 22nd birthday. In addition to graduating from a CKTC sending school, the student must not have previously completed their 1050 hours of tuition-free training while in high school. All students who meet the eligibility requirements receive scholarships.

Application Procedures

To receive a 13 Year Scholarship, the student must provide a copy of his or her high school diploma from a CKTC sending school or a GED completion certificate with proof of residency in the district to the CKTC registrar.

Amount of Student’s Aid

The total amount any student can receive is 1050 tuition-free hours. If a student has previously attended CKTC, those hours are subtracted from the 1050 hours to attain the amount of the scholarship. Funds are not directly disbursed to the student. The scholarship is applied to the student’s tuition on a nine-week period.
