CKTC will webcast the Caddo County High School Basketball Tournament live with play-by-play announcers Don Tyson, Dustin Tackett and Kem Crowell.
Students from CKTC’s Business and Computer Technology classes will join Multimedia instructor Tricia Pierce behind the cameras to deliver the webcast and photos.
The webcast is a big event for CKTC and its communities. For the past six years, students and staff at CKTC have dedicated themselves to the broadcast, which has allowed family members from all over the country to watch their children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews play in the oldest tournaments in the state.
“We have had grandparents from Washington state watching their grandkids play and parents who are in the military and overseas watching their kids play,” reported Superintendent Dennis Ruttman.
Students and staff will capture more than 30 hours of ballgames during the tournament in addition to the several hours of set-up and tear down each day.
CKTC will host the webcast, photographs and archives online at www.caddokiowa.com/ccbt . KACO 98.5 FM will also broadcast the games.
