Federal and State Assistance

Pell Grant

The Federal Pell Grant (PELL) is a federally funded grant program which provides aid to post-secondary students who are seeking a diploma or certificate in an eligible program at our institution. Pell grants are restricted to students who have not earned a bachelor's degree or beyond. Eligibility is based upon meeting certain criteria. These grants do not have to be repaid. To apply for a pell grant, complete the "Free Application for Federal Student Aid" application in the financial aid office.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant

FSEOG is a federally funded grant program. CKTC is provided limited funds to use toward students with the greatest need. This program is offered only to students with a zero Expected Family Contribution (EFC) toward their educational cost, on a first come, first served basis and does not have to be repaid.

 Oklahoma Tuition Aid Grant

OTAG may cover up to 50 percent of your tuition costs depending upon your eligibility. Administered by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, this grant does not have to be repaid.

Federal Work Study Program

Federal Work Study is a federally funded program which provides part-time work to eligible post-secondary students enrolled at least half-time.

Otha Grimes Scholarship

The Oklahoma Vocational Technical Foundation was formed in 1970 in memory of Francis Tuttle and Otha Grimes. The scholarships were designed for adult students who may not qualify for other scholarships or student assistance programs. Contact the financial aid office for more information or to apply.
