Precision Machining

Program Summary

Machinist make metal parts and goods that must meet precise specifications. Precision machining provides a practical basis for an engineering or business degree.

Drafters prepare detailed drawings of buildings, products and machinery from sketches and specifications made by engineers, architects and designers. Many drafters now use computer aided drafting software.
