Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating

Program Summary

Air Conditioning and Refrigeration technicians are skilled workers who install, service and repair air conditioning, refrigeration and heating units in homes, schools and commercial and industrial buildings.

Duties of a technician may include installing units; diagnosing causes of breakdowns, and repairing units.  Air Conditioning and Refrigeration technicians work in a variety of places and situations.  They may work on ground floors, roof tops, in customer homes or office buildings.

Students learn to install, service and repair commercial and residential air conditioning units and refrigeration systems.

Program Length:  2100 hours
